#TastyPastryBookTag

I was  tagged by Leanne to do this tag. I have to let you know that I really struggled to come up with some of these answers, and all the pictures made me hungry, but it really is such a fun idea!

Croissant:

Name a book that everyone loves, including you.

I’m gonna say the Maze Runner books, because a lot of people really liked these books, and I was no exception.

Macaron

Name a book that was difficult getting into but was worth the effort.

The Twilight Saga. This series was so hard to get into because of how cheesy it was at points, but I found that I just needed to relax a little, and I wound up really enjoying this series.

Vol-au-vent

Name a book you thought was going to be amazing, but really wasn’t.

A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K Le Guin. When I heard we were going to be reading this book in school, I was excited. It sounded like something that I would enjoy. But the farther into the book we got, the more bored I got with it. I think it would be better if I read it on my own time, and I plan on doing that at some point, but having to read it for school, it got super confusing and I wasn’t able to really enjoy it.

Pain au chocolat

Name a book that was totally different from what you expected.

For this book I’m going to say the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth. I don’t know what I expected from these books, but definitely not what happened. I’m not saying that as a bad thing at all! This trilogy was amazing and was executed perfectly!

Profiterole

Name a book that doesn’t get the attention it deserves.

For this category, I’m going to say School of Deaths by Christopher Manino. This book isn’t really one of my favorites, but I still thought it was a pretty good book, and since it came out only last year or something, it hasn’t really gotten a whole lot of attention.

Croquembouche

Name an intricate book

I’m going to agree with Leanne for this one and say the Harry Potter books. The whole world that JK Rowling creates is so detailed, and every character has a back story. These books were definitely intricate.

Name a TV show or movie you thought was better than the book.

This is such a hard question since I don’t really watch a whole lot of TV. I think that I’m going to say Divergent. Just because it’s the only movie I remember that at least lived up to the book. I’m not saying that the movie was better then the book though. This is really hard!

Empanada

Name a bittersweet book.

The Fault in our Stars. This book was amazing, but as with most books like it, it’s so sad! Sometimes sad books are the best though.

koolompeh

Kolompeh

Name a book that is set in a place you want to visit.

I fall in love with almost every location that I read about in books, but I’m going to say Idris from The Mortal Instruments books. I know that it’s a made up place, but the way that Cassandra Clare describes it to you is amazing. It sounds so beautiful, and I would love to visit and just explore.

la-pate-a-choux

Pate a Choux

Name a delicacy from a book that you would like to eat.

I would want to eat the sweets from Harry Potter. Or the Dauntless cake. I don’t know which.

Eclair

Eclairs

It’s time to spread the sweet and tasty pastry :p.

This was such a fun challenge, and I learned a whole lot about pastries. I hadn’t even heard of half of these before! I challenge Felicia to do this challenge. You should definitely check out some of her posts!
